I am an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist, which means I explore the ways in which your past relationships, often family-related, continue to impact on patterns of behaviour and your emotional resilience.
People come to therapy seeking change and together, in a collaborative way, we explore how to identify and effect the changes you wish to see. I work in a warm, inclusive and non-judgemental way and it is you who determines the pace of our work. It is the therapeutic relationship that is most important in psychodynamic therapy; I believe it is this that facilitates the changes and insights which strengthen renewed self-esteem.
I completed a rigorous four-year training at WPF Therapy, gaining my Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Practice through the University of Roehampton.
My professional registration is with FPC and UKCP and I abide by their ethical framework and standards.
I have professional indemnity insurance and am DBS checked.
